OK NSF EPSCoR Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Program

College Student Outreach

The Oklahoma NSF EPSCoR Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program strengthens and encourages undergraduate students' early participation in the university and scientific communities. Through the REU program, students experience hands-on STEM research and one-on-one guidance from faculty mentors at Oklahoma’s comprehensive research institutions (OU, OUHSC, OSU and TU) during the summer.

REU applications are solicited statewide from research faculty members, who submit proposals on behalf of individual students. Participants are selected on a competitive basis, with preference given to students from regional institutions and proposals in the current OK NSF EPSCoR research theme area (e.g. weather, water, terrestrial carbon, and infrastructure).

REU’s solicitations are issued annually, contingent upon available funding.

For more information on upcoming REU solicitations, visit the OK NSF EPSCoR Funding Opportunities page or contact Gina Miller, outreach coordinator, at 405.744.7645 or gmiller@okepscor.org.
