Women in Science Conference 2015 Breaks Attendance Records

The 2015 Women in Science Conference, held October 13 at the Mabee Center in Tulsa, broke attendance records this year and provided conference-goers with more hands-on science experiences than ever before!

More than 1,000 sixth- through twelfth-grade students and teachers attended the event, along with 278 vendors and volunteers.

Students were immersed in a day filled with science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), participating in these four action-packed interactive sessions:  Hands-on Science and Recruitment Fair, Engineering Design Challenge, Women in Science Careers Panel Session, and Science Live on Stage. The conference, presented by Oklahoma NSF EPSCoR and the funding partners below, is designed to show students that STEM careers are exciting, attainable and rewarding.
