SBIR/STTR Incentives, Proposal Workshops and Meetings

Strengthening Oklahoma through Research

Researchers at Oklahoma research institutions can obtain proposal development services through workshops and meetings provided by the Oklahoma SBIR Collaborative Resources program (OSCR).  OSCR is a partnership between OSRHE, OCAST, i2E, OKBio, OK EPSCoR and others.  The services will consist of one-on-one meetings, as well as group workshops.

Information explored will include:

  • Potential R&D funding opportunities
  • Requirements for competitive proposals and company eligibility
  • R&D "elevator speeches"
  • Specific SBIR/STTR agency opportunities, including questions that will likely be posed by program managers
  • Exploring "next steps," including potential OSCR support for proposal efforts

Oklahoma EPSCoR will provide seed grants annually (2014-2018) to faculty researchers who are pursuing SBIR/STTR Phase 1 awards.

For more information regarding these programs contact the Oklahoma EPSCoR office at 405.744.9964.  Upcoming workshop and meeting dates may be explored here.
