Research Interests: 

Dr. Mary Lawhon’s primary research interests are urban infrastructure, socio-technical transitions, exploring human-environment relationships, waste, and the political ecology of Africa. She joined the Oklahoma NSF EPSCoR research team in fall 2017. Her background and research will support the team as they work to advance understanding of how socio-ecological systems can adapt sustainably to climate variability.
