Choctaw Nation's Jones Academy STEM Camp

The Choctaw Nation's Jones Academy Boarding School is hosting a six-day, five-night summer STEM camp on the Jones Academy campus in Hartshorne, Oklahoma, for Native American students entering grades 9-12. Oklahoma EPSCoR is pleased to be a sponsor of this important inaugural event!

Students attending the camp will experience hands-on science sessions presented by Oklahoma CareerTech and Noble Foundation educators.  Sessions will include:  

  • Pre-engineering
  • Computer-adied drafting (CAD)
  • Biomedical
  • Tech Center visits
  • Forensics
  • Weather and climate science
  • Robotics
  • Environmental science

Requirements for participation:
