Choctaw Nation's Jones Academy STEM Camp

The Choctaw Nation's Jones Academy Boarding School is hosting two separate one-week summer science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) camps for Native American students entering grades 9-12.  Camps will be held June 13-17 and June 18-24, 2015.  Campers will be housed on the Jones Academy campus in Hartshorne, Oklahoma, during each camp. Oklahoma EPSCoR is pleased to be a sponsor for the second year of this important event in southeastern Oklahoma.

Students attending the camp will experience hands-on science sessions presented by Oklahoma CareerTech educators.  Sessions will include environmental science, pre-engineering, Tech Center visits, robotics, and more.  

Requirements for participation:  

Request an application from the contact person below.  Participating students must hold a CDIB card and have successfully completed Algebra I.
