
Choctaw Nation's Jones Academy STEM Camp
The Choctaw Nation's Jones Academy Boarding School is hosting two separate one-week summer science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) camps for Native American students entering grades 9-12. Campers will be housed on the Jones Academy campus in Hartshorne, Oklahoma, during each camp. Oklahoma EPSCoR is pleased to be a sponsor for the second year of this important event in southeastern Oklahoma.
Students attending the camp will experience hands-on science sessions presented by Oklahoma CareerTech educators. Sessions will include environmental science, pre-engineering, Tech Center visits, robotics, and more.
