Why is EPSCoR concerned with Public Outreach?
EPSCoR recognizes the need to generate public interest and support for STEM research and development in Oklahoma. By heightening citizens' awareness of STEM research and promoting an understanding of the relevance of research to the local, statewide, and national communities, taxpayers can see the benefit and wise use of public funds to impact health and welfare, homeland security, technological advances, and strengthening of our economy.
