DOE EPSCoR Implementation Award Competition

DOE EPSCoR has announced the FY 2010 DOE EPSCoR Implementation Awards competition.  The Program Notice Program Notice DE-PS02-09ER09-12 entitled "Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (DOE EPSCoR); Implementation Awards" was posted on the Grants.Gov Web Site on May 14, 2009.  Dr. Timothy J. Fitzsimmons, Program Manager of DOE EPSCoR, is the program point of contact.  Further details are available at the www.grants.gov website or at:

http://www.grants.gov/search/search.do?mode=VIEW&flag2006=false&oppId=47363

Note that only two awards will be issued with up to 18 EPSCoR jurisdictions eligible, so this will be a very intense competition.  Yearly budgets of up to $1 million dollars for three years are permissible.  There will be NO State Cost-Share required for this program.

Each EPSCoR state can only submit one application. Preproposals must be received at the OSU EPSCoR office by Monday, August 10, 2009.   Note that, after a theme is selected, the formal proposal application must be submitted by October 13, 2009.  This proposal must be submitted through the new Department of Energy e-Center (IIPS) http://doe-iips.pr.doe.gov/
