Bioenergy Summer Technology Academies
Bioenergy Summer Technology Academies are held each summer on the University of Tulsa campus. Three one-week summer academies provide 75 students and 15 teachers in grades 4-9 with GIS mapping skills, GPS knowledge, biofuel and alternative energy awareness, and computer/technological skills needed for research.
Oklahoma EPSCoR is pleased to provide funding for this program, which allows students and teachers to attend the academies free of cost.
Dr. David Brown, professor of education at the University of Tulsa, is the program coordinator. He may be reached at 918.631.2719 or email david-brown@utulsa.edu. For more information on upcoming academies, visit the program Web site at http://www.orgs.utulsa.edu/ttec/.
