The annual Who Wants to be an Entrepreneur Workshop will be held Friday, October 7, at the Reed Conference Center (5800 Will Rogers Rd., Midwest City).  There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. The deadline to register is Thursday, September 29.

The free one-day workshop is open to all college-level entrepreneurs, students and faculty members.
The event will provide attendees with tips, tricks and strategies for entrepreneurial success from experienced start-up founders, as well as a better understanding of funding options from several local experts.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network and dine with community leaders, investors, entrepreneurs and economic development experts during a provided luncheon.

Participants will also learn the key elements involved in starting a business, including how to write a business plan; what investors are looking for in an entrepreneur; and how to successfully present a plan to investors.

The event is sponsored by Oklahoma NSF EPSCoR, i2E, and the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber.
