About the Event
Geospatial Information Science Day (GISday) 2014 at OU will showcase geospatial technologies (remote sensing, global positioning systems, and geographic information systems) and their applications. Participation is open to middle and high school students, college undergraduate and graduate students, academic departments, research centers, private industry, NGOs, tribes, state and federal agencies, and the public. 
 
Activities will include (1) student poster contest, (2) information displays, (3) image and map gallery, and (4) technology exhibits and demonstrations.

  • Best poster awards for undergraduate and graduate students
  • Citizen science awards for field photos from GPS smartphone and camera
